Exemplar of sustainability.
The entirely plant-based and gluten-free Greenhouse Canteen & Bar is an exemplar of sustainability. In keeping with this shared ethos, the face-lift of the existing Miami restaurant has a light footprint. Working with Australian suppliers and sustainably sourced materials, allowed the project to embody the brands famous phrase ‘cruelty free and killin it.!’
MATERIALS
CORK TILES / JAPANESE CRACKLE TILES / BRONZE MIRROR / BURNT ORANGE BOUCLE FABRIC / AMERICAN WALNUT WALL LIGHTS
Material selections were imperative in fostering a green and comfortable dining environment for patrons. A diffused ambience is offered with thanks to a local lighting supplier, whose wall lights shaped from FSC approved solid walnut are an ellipsis under a cork-tiled wall that naturally assists the restaurant’s acoustics.
